What Does CNN Know About The End of the World?

That's what I want to know. Every time I read one of the articles on CNN about 2012 I throw up in my mouth a little. It's always "well in the year 999 these people thought X, and in 1999 these people thought Y(2k hah!)". This is 2012 we are talking about. Not 999, not 1843, not 1982. Nobody cares about that crap. The world is ending in 2012. Here is the article that is giving me headaches tonight.
