10 Ways the World Could End
Posted by Trust me in 10 ways the world will end, end of the world on Thursday, July 2, 2009
About a year ago, Discover released and article and video titled "Ten Ways the World Will End". Going back and taking another look, I saw some statistics. The chances of some of these things happening to us really aren't that bad, according to Discover. Looking at the image from the article below, there is a 1 in 14,000,000 chance of dying from a gamma-ray burst and a 1 in 700,000 of dying from asteroid impact. The chance of winning the lottery in my state is about 1 in 22,000,000 and that happens every few weeks. We've been lucky for far too long.

I tend to agree. Discover usually underestimates all end of the world scenarios. They will be sorry.. trust me.
